Legal
Privacy Policy
How LogicWeft handles personal information. Effective 6 November 2026.
Who we are
LogicWeft, an independent software developer based in Andhra Pradesh, India. This policy covers the website at logicweft.com, the customer account at account.logicweft.com, purchases of our premium plugins, and the support we provide by email. For any privacy question, write to privacy@logicweft.com.
The short version
This website has no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts. If you simply read it, we collect nothing about you beyond what our web server records in order to serve the page. When you buy a premium plugin, Paddle handles the payment, and we keep what we need to give you your licence, downloads and support.
What we collect
When you visit this website
Our web server keeps standard access logs. Each entry may include your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested, the HTTP status returned, your browser’s user-agent string, and the referring page. These logs exist to keep the site running and to investigate errors and abuse. They are not used to build a profile of you, are not combined with other sources, and are not shared with advertisers.
We do not run Google Analytics or any comparable third-party analytics service, and we do not embed third-party advertising, social media, or tracking pixels.
When you buy a premium plugin
Premium plugins are sold through Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record. At checkout, Paddle collects your name, email address, country, billing address where needed, and payment details, under Paddle’s privacy policy. We never see your card or bank details. Paddle tells us what we need to provide your licence and support: your name, email address, plan, and the status of your subscription (renewed, cancelled, refunded). The pricing pages load Paddle’s checkout script; other pages don’t.
Your account at account.logicweft.com
We keep your email address and name, your licences (only a fingerprint of each key, never the key itself), the sites activated on each licence with the plugin, WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions they report, and when each site last checked in. You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email. The account sets two cookies of its own, logicweft_account and logicweft_account_csrf, only on account.logicweft.com, which are needed for it to work.
Licence checks by our premium plugins
When you enter a licence key, and then once a day, a premium plugin contacts account.logicweft.com. It sends the key (only when activating) or the site’s activation token, your site’s address, and its plugin, WordPress, WooCommerce and PHP versions. It sends nothing about your orders, products or customers. Free plugins send nothing to us.
When you email us
If you contact us for support or any other reason, we receive what you choose to send: your email address, your name if you include it, and the content of your message. Support requests often contain technical details about your store, like plugin and platform versions, error logs, and sometimes a staging URL. We use this only to answer you and to fix the problem you reported.
Please do not send us passwords, API keys, payment card details, or customer data from your store. If a problem genuinely requires access to your site, we will agree a safe way to arrange it rather than asking you to email credentials.
Fonts and other assets
The typeface used on this site is served from our own server. Your browser does not make a request to a third-party font host when you load these pages.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information.
- We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
- We store no customer passwords: the account uses one-time email links.
- We never see payment details. Paddle takes the payment as Merchant of Record.
Distribution channels, and what they see
We distribute free plugins through WordPress.org and sell premium versions here. WordPress.org and Paddle each have their own privacy policy, which applies to what you do on their sites.
WordPress.org Plugin Directory. Our free plugins are published on WordPress.org, which is operated by the WordPress Foundation and its contributors. Downloading or installing a plugin from there is a transaction with WordPress.org, not with us. We receive no personal information about who installs a free plugin. We only see the aggregate, anonymous install and version counts that the directory publishes to every plugin author. Our plugins do not phone home, and we do not add any tracking of our own to them.
Premium plugins are bought on logicweft.com through Paddle (see “When you buy a premium plugin” above). We hold no payment card or bank data of any kind.
Service providers
We keep the list of third parties short. The ones that can touch personal information are:
- Our hosting provider, who operates the server that serves this website and holds the access logs described above.
- Our email provider, who transmits and stores the email you send us.
- Paddle.com, our reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes premium purchases, renewals and refunds.
- WordPress.org, as the directory that hosts our free plugins and their support forums. Anything you post in a public support forum there is public, and is governed by their policies.
These providers process data on our behalf to deliver their service. They are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
How long we keep things
- Account and licence records: kept while your licence is active and for 3 years after it ends, so we can answer support and billing questions. Paddle keeps purchase records as the law requires of it.
- Server access logs: retained for a short operational period, normally no more than 90 days, then deleted or rotated out.
- Support email: retained while it is useful for supporting you and for keeping a record of reported defects. Threads that are no longer relevant are deleted on request.
- Records we must keep by law: retained for the period the relevant law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to privacy@logicweft.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm you are the person the information relates to before we act on a request.
Depending on where you live, you may have further rights, such as the right to object to processing, to request a portable copy of your data, or to complain to a data protection authority. We will honour any right that applies to you under the law of your jurisdiction. Note that we cannot delete data Paddle holds about a purchase, or WordPress.org about a forum post or a directory download; those requests go to them.
Security
This site and the account are served over HTTPS. Licence keys, sign-in links and session tokens are stored only as one-way fingerprints, so a copy of our database could not be used to sign in or activate a licence. We keep access to the server and to our support mailbox limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise, but we have deliberately kept the amount of your data in our hands close to zero.
Children
This site and our plugins are business tools intended for adults operating online stores. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International transfers
We operate from India. Our hosting and email providers may process data on servers in other countries. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers put in place for cross-border transfers.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top of the page. Material changes will be summarised here so you can see what moved. The current version took effect on 6 November 2026.
